Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Quotala (“the service”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Last updated: August 6, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Quotala, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, that you have the authority to enter into these Terms on behalf of yourself or the business you represent, and that you accept and will comply with these Terms. We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
2. Service Description
Quotala is a quote-to-booking platform for independent service businesses and trades. With Quotala you can:
- Build branded quotes for your leads.
- Send quote links to leads by email.
- Capture lead approvals and basic booking information.
- Send short follow-up notifications to leads — by email today, and by SMS once carrier (A2P 10DLC) registration is approved and a given lead has opted in.
We may add, change, or remove features at any time. Where a change is material, we will give active users reasonable advance notice by email or in-product notice.
3. Accounts and Acceptable Use
You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree that you will not:
- Use the service to send unsolicited marketing messages to anyone who has not asked to receive them.
- Upload or transmit content that is unlawful, infringing, deceptive, defamatory, or that violates any person’s privacy or publicity rights.
- Collect, harvest, or store personal information about leads for any purpose outside the legitimate quote-and-booking workflow the lead has agreed to.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer the service, interfere with its security, or use it in any way that could damage, disable, or impair it for other users.
- Use the service to violate applicable laws, including telecommunications regulations (TCPA, CTIA guidelines, A2P 10DLC requirements) and consumer-protection rules.
We may suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe you have violated this section.
4. SMS Terms
SMS features are currently contingent on A2P 10DLC carrier registration. Until that registration is approved, Quotala delivers quote-related messages by email only. Once enabled, the following terms apply to every SMS you or Quotala send on behalf of a lead.
4.1 Consent (Opt-In)
SMS notifications are opt-in only. A lead must affirmatively agree to receive text messages from Quotala— for example, by checking a clear “Yes, text me” box on the quote page and providing their mobile phone number. We record the consent event (timestamp, IP, opt-in language shown) so it is auditable.
By signing up for SMS notifications, a lead consents to receive text messages from Quotala regarding their quote, appointment confirmations, and short follow-up messages.
4.2 Opt-Out and Help
A lead can opt out at any time by replying STOP, CANCEL, END, QUIT, or UNSUBSCRIBE to any SMS. After an opt-out, Quotala will send a one-time confirmation message and then stop delivering further SMS to that number.
For help, a lead can reply HELP or INFO to any SMS and Quotala will respond with contact details. Contact details are also available at any time on our Privacy Policy.
Message frequency varies; typically 1–4 messages per active quote. Message and data rates may apply.
4.3 Supported Carriers and Delivery
SMS is delivered via standard US carriers (T-Mobile, Verizon, AT&T, and many regional carriers). Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Quotala does not guarantee that any individual SMS will be delivered, opened, or read.
We do not share or sell mobile phone numbers. Numbers are used solely to deliver the messages the lead has opted in to. See our Privacy Policy for the full SMS data-handling disclosure.
4.4 Your Responsibilities
You agree that every lead you send SMS to has affirmatively opted in. You agree not to import phone numbers that did not consent to your messages. You agree to honor STOP replies immediately and to keep a record of consent for each lead.Quotala provides the consent capture and audit trail, but the underlying obligation to obtain consent is yours.
5. Payments and Subscription
Paid plans are billed monthly in US dollars through our payment processor, Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your payment method until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your billing settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not store your full credit-card number on our servers.
Unless required by law, subscription fees are non-refundable. We may change pricing for upcoming billing periods with at least 30 days’ notice by email.
6. Intellectual Property
The service, including its software, design, trademarks, logos, and copy, is owned by Quotala and protected by intellectual-property law. You retain ownership of the content you upload (your quotes, your business information, your lead data) and grant Quotala a limited license to host, transmit, and display that content solely to operate the service for you.
7. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time and request account deletion by emailing us. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, fail to pay, or if we discontinue the service. Where reasonable, we will give you advance notice and an opportunity to export your data.
Sections of these Terms that, by their nature, should survive termination (including payments owed, intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive termination.
8. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, Quotala disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific SMS or email will be delivered.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Quotala and its officers, employees, and partners will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or for any loss of data, use, or goodwill, resulting from your use of (or inability to use) the service. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising under these Terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we do, we update the “Last updated” date at the top. For material changes, we will notify active users by email or in-product notice at least 14 days before the change takes effect.
